MAXXI Multifunctional Building, Rome — by Studio Symbiosis

https://studio-symbiosis.com/project/rome-competition/

Studio Symbiosis's competition proposal for a multifunctional building beside Zaha Hadid's MAXXI Museum combines art storage, labs, a café, and a rooftop garden bar overlooking the museum's roofscape. A landscape reconfiguration of Via Masaccio extends the museum's curvilinear language into the public realm. Built on circular economy principles, it uses recycled demolition materials, steel-and-timber structure, and geothermal energy. Site Area: 5,080 sq.m. Built-up: 9,482 sq.m. Status: Competition.

M3M The Crown, Sector 111, Gurugram — by Studio Symbiosis

Designed by Studio Symbiosis along the Dwarka Expressway corridor, M3M The Crown is a residential sanctuary that transforms Gurugram's urban density into a lush, nature-first world. A petal-shaped master plan — inspired by the bloom of a flower — organises towers and gardens so every apartment faces green open space, with water features weaving through organic pathways to enhance the microclimate. The clubhouse extends this philosophy, rising through open, light-filled zones to a stepped green terrace and amphitheatre. Vertically expressed anodized metallic fins, drawn from petal geometry, wrap each tower's façade — shading interiors by day and glowing as a luminous skyline landmark by night. Spread over 15.9 acres, 438,545 sq.m built-up.
